Standing together in prayer
Christian Veterans Fellowship is a Christ-centered place of encouragement for veterans, active-duty service members, military families, caregivers, supporters, and anyone who wants to stand with those who served or are currently serving. Prayer is one of the simplest and most faithful ways to carry one another’s burdens.
Prayer does not require perfect words. A weary heart can pray honestly. A family member can ask God for wisdom. A caregiver can ask for strength. A veteran can ask for peace. A service member far from home can ask for protection, courage, and faith. The Lord hears the humble cry of the heart.
Use the Prayer Request page to send a prayer or encouragement request. Please do not use the website for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. For urgent mental health crisis support in the United States, dial 988 and press 1 for the Veterans Crisis Line.
Encouragement for heavy days
Some days feel heavier than others. A person may be dealing with grief, disability, transition, loneliness, family strain, financial pressure, memories from the past, or concern for someone they love. Christian encouragement does not pretend those burdens are small. It points the heart toward Jesus Christ, who is near to the brokenhearted and faithful to give grace for the next step.
You are not forgotten by God. Whether you served, are currently serving, love someone who served, care for someone who served, or simply want to encourage those who served or are currently serving, your presence and prayers matter. Christian fellowship is one way the Lord reminds His people that burdens do not have to be carried alone.
Ways to pray today
Pray for veterans who feel alone. Pray for active-duty service members who are far from home. Pray for military families under pressure. Pray for caregivers who are tired. Pray for disabled veterans navigating daily burdens. Pray for churches to notice, welcome, and encourage those connected to military service. Pray for people who need salvation, forgiveness, peace, and hope in Jesus Christ.
If today feels heavy, take one faithful step: pray, read Scripture, reach out, submit a prayer request, or encourage someone else. Small acts of faith can become strong reminders that Christ is near.
A simple prayer
Lord Jesus, strengthen those who served and those currently serving. Comfort the families who stand beside them. Encourage caregivers who carry quiet burdens. Help veterans who feel forgotten, disabled veterans who need strength, and service members who are far from home. Draw hearts to salvation, mercy, forgiveness, and lasting hope in You. Make this fellowship a place of faith, compassion, prayer, peace, and encouragement. Amen.
